Black Friday Candy Making

Instead of shopping this year, we decided to make candy, just like we used to when the girls were little. Here is the candy making crew after everything has been divided and we are ready to go home.
Mindy said Ethan refuses to eat mac & cheese anymore, so Guelly had this for lunch. Of course Guelly didn't finish it, so Ethan had some. Has to make a liar out of mom you know.
Combining and hauling beans while watching TV kept the boys occupied, for a while.

The boys help Mindy mix up buckeyes. If you look closely at Ethan, you can see peanut butter on his nose and chin. He loved buckeyes as long as they didn't have any chocolate on them. Guelly, on the other hand, will eat just about anything as long as it is covered in chocolate.

Thanksgiving

Sometime after Thanksgiving dinner, I tickled Ethan's belly. Guelly wanted his tickled too, but couldn't figure out how to pull his shirt up, since he had a onsie on. So he just dropped his pants.
Ethan decided they were going have a 'campground' - a fire in the middle of the back room. He piled up all the new trucks Aunt Chris gave the boys, and they got the golf clubs and bats to roast marshmallows. They remembered that you had to be careful and not get in the fire.
May not be your traditional Thanksgiving activity, but these 'boys' sure had fun!!

Guelly and Ethan got a chance to ride a real bucking bronco last night. They loved it. The bronco looks suspiciously like Grandpa.
Farming is hard work. You have to work on the machinery all the time. Here is Ethan fixing the tractor.
Notice that he is using a real screwdriver. He also managed to get real grease on himself. When he got done, he turned the pedals and said "It working!!"
