Hannah

Happy Hannah on the floor. She patiently sat in her car seat while her mommy and I went to some garage sales. She is such a good baby!!
Hannah brought the rest of her family to church Sunday morning so she and her mommy could come to the Mother/Daughter breakfast with Grandma. Hannah was fascinated with everything. Brother Ethan and Daddy went to the Vag with Grandpa and Ethan was fascinated with Fluff Fluff. He also ate two bowls of noodles!

Friday night with Ethan

Ethan chilling on the couch, eating pizza, cup of chocolate milk nearby, watching Thomas the Train on the new dvd player Grandpa won at the Farm Bureau dinner Thursday night. Life just doesn't get much better than this.
Saturday morning he rode the tractor. As soon as I took the picture, he told me "Stop it!" He doesn't like to get his picture taken anymore.

The wedding

The real reason we went to Vegas - our niece Lexi was getting married. Here is the mother of the bride and Dan's sister coming down the aisle.
Andi, another niece, makes her entrance.
Charlie, yet another niece, was the maid of honor.
Here is the bride, Lexi, and Dan, who gave her away, coming down the aisle.
Lexi and Monte

More of Vegas

Here is part of the group at the rehearsal dinner. Lexi, the bride, is standing right behind Dan and Monte, the groom, is seated right behind him talking to others.
Here is some of the construction going on right now on the Vegas Strip. Something tells me that winners aren't building all these casinos.......
The fountains at the Bellagio. You get a spouting fountain show set to music - very nicely done.
That is supposed to be real money in there - a million bucks. Sure would be nice if some of that money would come home with me....
Here is one of the statues in Caesar's Palace in the Forum Shops. This one isn't animated, but some of them are. Note that the ceiling is painted to look like the sky. That has been copied in some of the other malls connected with casinos too. some even complete with thunder. I came back about even this trip, which isn't too bad. Although the turtle hat would have been tempting to help you make Ethan, I am still glad we made the trip.

Vegas continues...

Here is a picture of everyone but me waiting in South Bend for the plane. From left, with her back to you, is Ann Runkle, her daughter Dawn is looking at the camera, then there is Kacey Criswell, Cindy Reed and Dan on the end. The guy with the hat is Bruce Taylor and Sue Taylor is next to him on the right. Plane left on time and was a pretty uneventful flight.
Here is Sue with her bowls of fruit this morning at the Paradise Buffet in the Fremont. Dan and I and Cindy and Kacey went to see Rita Rudner last night - good, clean show, we highly recommend it. I found free wifi at the Main Street Station Hotel and Casino, just a short walk from The Vegas Club.

VEGAS!!!

We are leaving for our favorite city tomorrow - LAS VEGAS!!! Plane leaves South Bend IN about 2:30pm on Allegiant Air. Main purpose of the trip is our niece Lexi is getting married Saturday. Here is a picture taken a year or two ago of the Las Vegas Club Hotel and Casino in downtown Vegas - that will be our home base for this trip. Have tickets for Rita Rudner at Harrah's tomorrow night. Friday night hope to see a Comedy Club at the Riviera. Dan and some of the other relatives are going to drag races Saturday. Wedding is Saturday night. We come home Sunday morning :( I need this trip after all the Alternate Assessments and IEPs at school - although it is a lot of work for me to get everything ready to be off for 2 days. Will post more pictures as they happen, so stay tuned!!

Bye Alex and Guelly

Alex and Guelly were over last night for supper and to say goodbye. They are leaving Tuesday morning for their Mexican adventure, where hopefully Papi gets his legal papers and the boys get to meet their other grandparents. Going to be a long 3 1/2 weeks for those of us in Ohio, but we have our fingers, toes, etc. crossed that all goes well. Have a great trip and I will see you May 2 in El Paso!!!!

We bought 2 small storage units Saturday morning. They resulted in 3 pickup loads of goodies. Here is Kevin, Nacho and Dan taking a break from sorting through it all.
Guelly and Ethan had to check it all out too!!

Alex's Baptism
